Do you have spring fever? It’s only February, but after a few warm, sunny days, I’m ready to plant a spring garden!
Since it’s still a bit early to plant most things, I’m going to do planning instead.
And I thought it would fun to invite you and the rest of our community to join me in a “7-Day Happy Garden Challenge.” Over the course of a week or so, we’ll create a plan for our spring garden. When it’s time to plant, you’ll be ready! We’ll also cover some steps you can take anytime of year to give your garden a healthy “foundation.”
Here’s how it will work…
- Starting Friday, Feb. 24, I’ll send a daily email at 9am EST. It will include a short lesson and an assignment to help you move forward. The weekend lessons will include getting outside into your garden (or future garden area).
- Each afternoon, I’ll also livestream via Facebook to dig deeper into the lessons and answer your questions. You can join me live or watch the recording later in the day. I’ll do my best to answer all of your questions in the video and comments. You can also ask questions in our private Facebook Group (see below).
- At the end, I’ll wrap it up with a great takeaway resource for future garden planning.
I invite you to join our private Gardens That Matter Facebook Group. Throughout the challenge, this will be the place to ask questions and meet other gardeners doing the challenge.
If you’re finding this part way through the challenge, join anyway! At the end, you’ll get a resource with all of the lessons included.
Plus, if everyone finds the challenge valuable, we’ll plan to do others in the future. If you’re on our email update list, you’ll get the details as those future events happen!
Snap peas and spinach top my list for the first round of spring planting. What would you love to grow in your garden?
